She can be bossy and she can be a know-it-all but for the most part, she is one of the most likable fictional characters ever. She knows how to be a leader and her position as the royal princess over her candy kingdom makes all the sense in the world to avid viewers of the show.
No one else would be able to take control and maintain the wellbeing of so many candy people the way she does. Hynden Walch is the voice actress behind the roles of both Princess Bubblegum and Starfire from Teen Titans. She is obviously very talented, being able to easily voice act in multiple shows at a time.

8 She Communicates With Lady Rainicorn In Korean
Lady Rainicorn takes Princess Bubblegum wherever she needs to go. She is the flying unicorn everyone wishes they could have as a pet. She is sweet, loyal, and on top of that, she is colorful. She is the best companion for someone like Princess Bubblegum in the magical world of Adventure Time.
Whenever Princess Bubblegum needs to communicate with Lady Rainicorn, they speak to each other in Korean. Princess Bubblegum is fluent in English, Korean, and German.
7 She Is An Incarnation Of The "Candy Elemental"
Princess Bubblegum found out that she was the incarnated modern-day "Candy Elemental". The elements in Adventure Time are different than the elements most people know on planet earth. On earth, the elements are fire, water, earth, and air. OnAdventure Timethe elements are fire, ice, candy, and slime.
She was told that other Elementals lived before her and that she is no the one who is alive and in charge at the present moment. She obviously has the greatest connection to candy since that is part of her DNA. At one point, viewers are able to learn about the Fire Elemental too.
6 She & Marceline The Vampire Queen Are Dating
Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the vampire queen have entered into a loving relationship! They were close friends before and it seemed like things were only platonic-- until they shared a kiss proving to everyone that there was more too their feelings than just friendship. Cartoons including LGBTQ couples is the new wave.
They broke up before but they are back together and they definitely make each other happy. They are the type of couple that helps build each other up despite the fact that they used to fight a lot.
5 The Ice King Has A Creepy Crush On Her Because Of His Ex-Fiance
The Ice King has always had a creepy crush on Princess Bubblegum and that crush has led him down an even creepier path of kidnapping. Luckily for her, Finn and Jake take the time needed to rescue Princess Bubblegum from his clutches whenever Ice King tries to have his way.
Ice King admitted that he only crushes on Princess Bubblegum so hard because she reminds him of his last ex-fiance who he would call "princess" as a nickname.
4 She Can Give Life To Food
Princess Bubblegum is able to give life to food if she feels like it. She can bring a gumdrop to life and have it dancing around on the dancefloor in front of her at any given moment. Princess Bubblegum is not the type of royal individual to let power go to her head though.
Even though she can make food items come to life at the drop of a hat, she doesn't always use her power to make that happen. She has no desire to be evil in the first place so when she does bring food to life, it is for a good or fun reason.
3 She Has A Male Counterpart -- Prince Gumball
The gender-swapped version of Princess Bubblegum is named Prince Gumball. He is pretty much exactly like her except that he is a guy and she is a girl. With their only difference being their genders, they have a lot of other things in common.
Prince Gumball's first appearance was in an episode called "Fionna and Cake" and his last appearance was in an episode called "Five Short Tables".
2 Her Birthday Is October 16
Although her birthday doesn't really matter, Princess Bubblegum's day of birth lands on October 16th. When the show started she was already over 800 years old! She chose to regress back to the age of thirteen even though she is far from being a preteen. Her choice to be younger helps her fit in with Finn and Jake.
Princess Bubblegum doesn't have to worry about passing away or aging and getting wrinkles at some point in time. She will always be able to remain youthful.
1 She Is Skeptical Of Magic
Despite the fact that Princess Bubblegum is surrounded by magic, lives in a magical kingdom, has friends who use magic in front of her, and more, she still finds herself very skeptical of magic. Instead, she thinks that a lot of what goes on around her is the doing of science.
She is known for being invested in the world of science and viewers have seen her in her lab, trying out experiments and other things throughout the course of the show. Her opinion on magic versus science still seems very odd based on everything she has witnessed.
